VICTOR HUGO PONTES — FALL

In FALL, the choreographer Victor Hugo Pontes “questions the fuzzy intersection between the physical fall—whose movement is undeniable, palpable, visible—and the other fall—metaphorical—which requires a moral judgment.

“Is there really a boundary between the two? Can falling down be a deliberate act or is it inevitably suffered? Does it condemn us or liberate us? It is through dance and movement exploration that seven interpreters attempt to answer these questions.”*
