JESSICA LANG DANCE — FINAL WEST COAST TOUR

Jessica Lang Dance will present its final California performances, starting tonight in Santa Barbara, with stops in San Jose, San Francisco, and Malibu. After seven years, the company will close in April, 2019.

The company will introduce THIS THING CALLED LOVE, a West Coast premiere, and the evenings will include Lang’s LYRIC PIECES, GLOW, SOLO BACHTHE CALLING, and THOUSAND YARD STARE.

JESSICA LANG DANCE

Jessica Lang—choreographer, artistic director, and former member of Twyla Tharp’s company—and her troupe will make their Music Center debut later this month.

Performing two of her recent—TESSERACTS OF TIME (2015, commissioned for the Chicago Architectural Biennial), and THOUSAND YARD STARE (2016)—along with dances from her repertoire, the evening also includes WHITE, a dance created on film.
