This week on the blog we listened Blue Monday by New Order; we visited Frances Stark At Galerie Buchholz in Köln; we discovered the blog I am a washing machine blog of the young photographer Ioana Hercberg; we passed by London to see Kai Althoff‘s show at Michael Werner Gallery; we suggested to assist to the presentation & reading by Gerry Bibby at Castillo Corrales.
Ioana Hercberg, a young Frenchwoman, left Paris for New York City a few years ago. Ever since I’ve known her, she has held a camera, photographing friends, trips and places. So many pictures, and that’s how her blog “I am a washing machine” started. I really enjoy her universe, how it is full of colour, delicacy and the details she captures. Here is Ioana Hercberg’s portfolio.
This week on the blog we discovered the designers Antoine Philippon and Jacqueline Lecoq; saw the first exhibition at Del Vaz Projects; listened Dayvan Cowboy from Boards of Canada; visited the new show of Mark Leckey at Wiels: Lending Enchantment to Vulgar Materials and the show of Jonathan Binet and Martin Laborde at Gaudel de Stampa: Yellow Cabin Saturday Night Remittent Fever.
