In its third annual incarnation, T3THERING once again brings together two Los Angeles-based dance companies—Rebecca Lemme’s Acts of Matter and Andrea Gise’s Dance Aegis—for a weekend of performance and celebration.

Lemme presents LOVE LETTER (full version), which she choreographed on Acts of Matter, and PERSIST (on the L.A. Contemporary Dance Company). Both are premieres.

Gise presents the premiere of FUTURE MEMORY—choreographed on Dance Aegis—and restages HER for the dance/performance company The Assembly. Originally performed at CalArts, HER draws from Simone de Beauvoir’s text The Second Sex.

The weekend’s music will be provided by singer-guitarist-songwriter Stan Taylor.
