A video collaboration between director Bill Gunn, writer Ishmael Reed, photographer Robert Polidori, and composer Carman Moore, the rarely seen PERSONAL PROBLEMS (1980) stars Vertamae Smart-Grosvenor and Sam Waymon in what was conceived as a “meta soap opera.”
Artists Space and the Maysles Documentary Center will present an in-person screening and online streaming opportunities to see the film this weekend and next week.
